Our Private Equity Relationships

Since 2012, we have served as a trusted advisor and consultant to private equity firms and their portfolio company investments on 40+ best practice systems and operations transformation initiatives leveraging Salesforce and NetSuite.  We have a dedicated team who serves our private equity partners and is actively involved in regular communications with their operating partners to understand strategic initiatives across their portfolios, including our involvement and consultation prior to or immediately following an investment or acquisition, including the following:

  • Typically, when a private equity partner acquires a company, they engage us to implement a new, integrated Salesforce and NetSuite environment within target entity or entities to ensure that the business applications and processes are aligned with best practices and configured to scale in support of both organic and add-on acquisition growth.  
 
  • A Phased Approach project methodology that ensures complete and accurate capture of business requirements, solution design, configuration and development activities, user acceptance testing, delivery milestones, and go-live cutover planning and execution.  We integrate our private equity partners into key project decisions and milestones as part of overall project administration and change management, thus ensuring alignment between the private equity firm and the portfolio company on project expectations and outcomes.  
 
  • Oftentimes, the portfolio company makes subsequent add-on acquisitions and engage us to integrate the newly acquired companies into the acquiring company's Salesforce and NetSuite environment, where sales motions, products, pricing, customer hierarchies, etc. are harmonized between all organizations to ensure standardized business workflows and reporting across entities. 
 
  • Sometimes, it makes sense to optimize a current installation of Salesforce and/or NetSuite, rather than implement brand-new ones. In these cases, we ensure proper due diligence on the portfolio company's existing Salesforce and/or NetSuite environments including a comprehensive gap analysis between current state and desired future state, and remediation plan for pain points and departures from best practices.
