Profile
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver projects that span across one or more business units and projects. The Senior Project Manager will manage project activities, resources, schedules, budgets and adhere to milestone quality and controls throughout the full project life cycle. This also includes management of risks, issues and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The Senior Project Manager should contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. The Senior Manager is responsible for developing the customer’s roadmap, and managing all current and prospective projects for a single customer. The Senior Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis, verify that the project produces the required deliverables, meeting or exceeding the customer’s criteria, within the constraints of time and cost as specified in the project’s Statement of Work.

Essential Duties
- Serve as the SCG project leader on customer engagements, typically comprised of either Salesforce.com (generally Sales and Service Cloud) and NetSuite, or both.
- Serve as the primary customer-facing SCG representative on projects, and the first point of contact for project escalations.
- Participate in Pre-Sales Discovery to learn about and document both SCG and the customer’s major deliverables and dependencies.
- Coordinate the Sales to Delivery handoff for the internal project team.
- In coordination with customer, plan and schedule project sessions such as Project Kick-off, Weekly Status, User Acceptance and End-to-end Testing Sessions and Steering Committee meetings.
- Oversee/support SCG Track Consultants to ensure their tracks are producing timely, high quality work products and deliverables as documented in the Statement of Work and Project Plan.
- Motivate team members to meet project goals, adhere to their responsibilities and project milestones.
- Ensure adequate resources are assigned to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
- Ensure that all SCG deliverables specified in the project’s Statement of Work are complete prior to project closure.
- Maintain and communicate of weekly project health and status, including weekly budget/ hours burn-down.
- Manage Project Scope, Timeline, Resources, deploying Risk & Issue Management, Change Management and Change Orders, and Escalation Management as required.
- Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
- Ensure timely completion of project-related contracts such as Statements of Work, Change Orders, Service Agreements, etc..
- Facilitate customer sign-off on major milestones, after ensuring all SCG deliverables for that milestone have been completed as specified in the SOW.
- Facilitate effective cross-functional team member and customer communication.
- Understand interdependencies between technologies, operations and business needs.
- Deliver appropriate and effective executive-level communication.
- Engage in continuing education to advance Project Management, Business Process, Salesforce, and/or NetSuite skills, such as self-study or instructor led training, seminars, certifications, etc..
- Assist in building Best Practice repositories of repeatable, scalable processes.
- Mentor less experienced Project Managers and Technical Consultants as appropriate.
Role Requirements
- Demonstrated competency in project management principles, methods and techniques.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing projects as the primary Project or Program Manager.
- Experience managing service delivery teams.
- Experience managing customer engagements and technical programs.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with either Salesforce.com and/or NetSuite.
- At least one Salesforce or NetSuite Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with a Application Lifecycle Management Tool, or DevOps tools such as Jira, MS Dev Ops.
- Business process experience in Sales Operations, Sales, Marketing or Operational/ Accounting role(s).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, Computer Science or other related disciplines.
- Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Project Management or similar disciplines preferred.
- Active Project Management Professional (“PMP”) Certification.
